My favourite vitality supplements

During the pandemic, I’ve had plenty of time to research and try some supplements I admittedly skipped out on (some from time to time and some all together) which everyone should add to their diet. Here are some of them and their benefits.

  1. Vitamin D3 - A very famous supplement at the moment due to pandemic research that people with low vitamin D3 levels were more likely to be hospitalised due to COVID-19. But also, and mainly, very useful for bone health, fighting diseases, fighting depression (the sunshine vitamin!) and aid in weight loss.

  2. Krill Oil - Or any omega 3 that has high levels of EPA and DHA. Vital for the maintenance of a healthy heart and brain function, normalises blood pressure and I usually prefer Krill oil due to the higher level of antioxidants it contains.

  3. NAC - Adding NAC. to your diet helps detoxify and maintain liver and kidney health. NAC helps replenish glutathione (hospitals use this for alcohol overdoses to detoxify the liver) to a normal level and overall helps with your bodies detoxification process i.e. by clearing heavy metals from the body and free radicals.
